Christian Youth Fellowship and Chi Rho

Meeting as a single group, the High School (CYF) and the Middle School (Chi Rho) are offered a four part program of activities.

Worship

From providing a Sunday worship experience to the congregation to participation in youth worship programs with our sister churches, include Primera Iglesia Christiana (Hobart), Iglesia Del Pueblo Hope Center (Hammond), and Central Christian (Merrillville).

Fellowship

Fellowship is spending time together.  This can be done, watching fire works on the 4th of July, going bowling on Sunday afternoon, or carving and then smashing pumpkins in October.  In the plans are the first trip to a paintball event.

Service

Twice a year, the youth plan, purchase and prepare dinner for the families staying at the Ronald McDonald House at the University of Chicago’s Children’s Hospital.

Annually, the youth have participated in "Chalk the Walk", sponsored by the Family & Youth Services Bureau to raise funds for your programs.

Learning

Ever hear about 'Fish-losophy'?  Monthly the youth gather to learn about living together.  Adapted from the 'Pike Place Fish Market Philosopy', we've identified the bibilical aspects of 'being with each other".
